CD Clocks

Stampin’ Ups! are SO versatile!! Over Christmas I used our products on ceramic tiles & created coasters for some gifts.  Yes, coasters!

I used StazOn Ink to stamp my images & a BLENDER PEN with our ink to color in the images.

On the above tile I even used GOLD EMBOSSING POWDER! Amazing!!! Don’t you think?

As you can see I made A LOT of coasters.  Well, this got me thinking…’What else can be made?’  Clocks, clocks can be made! CDs are perfect for clocks. Printable CDs take our ink beautifully with no prep work necessary!

Our regular stamp pads work and dry on the CD surface. No prep work necessary. Use StazOn if you’ll be doing any coloring (like the image from Beautiful You). StazOn was also used for the black of the lighthouse and birds. The sky and grass was sponged. Inks used were Black StazOn, Real Red, Island Indigo, Crumb Cake, Blushing Bride, Crushed Curry, Soft Sky, and Pear Pizzazz. You can also color with markers or ink and blender pen. You can also use pigment ink (heat set to dry). I then seal them with a spray (like Krylon) and add the clock works once the spray sealer has dried.

You can buy the stamp sets, ink pads & papers along with many other supplies on my site below. And while you’re there don’t forget to look at the calendar and see which of the upcoming monthly classes work best for your schedule so you can learn how to make this project and other items like cards, gift boxes & scrapbook pages!!
